2) Learn-2-Turn Mentoring Program:

Baltimore Area Turners has a mentoring service. Maybe you just need some help with the skew,or spindle turning, … or maybe you want to try bowl turning or pen turning but you’re not sure how to get started. Then the BAT “Learn to Turn” program is right for you! We’ll put you in contact with a club member who can help you.

3) Other Benefits:

  • Video archive of past club meetings and demonstrations.
  • Check out club library items. Woodturning Books, Videos and DVD’s
  • Monthly 50/50 raffle, $5 per chance, BAT keeps half the proceeds and the lucky BAT member with the winning ticket number gets the other half of the pot.
  • Demos (conducted by other club members or professional wood turners)
  • Show and Tell. Bring in your turnings and show them off or seek advice from other woodturners.
  • Equipment. The club owns woodturning tools and equipment, it also maintains audio-visual equipment used to photograph and videotape finished pieces, woodturning events, and demonstrations.
